I’m trying to solve a problem that I’ve had for a while now, and I’m using ddu to uninstall my display driver (someone suggested I did so). I launch it in safe mode, resetting my driver to the Microsoft default. I then download a new driver from the amd website, and try to install it. After restarting my pc to apply the driver, I check the device manager. There it shows that my display driver had not changedto the one I downloaded, and instead reset to what it was before I started trying to fix it.

Any and all help is greatly appreciated as I’m trying to fix this without having to bring it to a repair shop (tight on cash rn)

Yes, I did. I’ve got a pretty old pc, so I’m currently trying to see if it’s the driver version that’s the problem.
