If this isn’t the right subreddit tell me please.

So I think someone is accessing my computer because I have been experiencing weird mouse movements and other strange things on my computer. Things like soundboard going off for no reason, microphone being accessed, my mouse being jerked around for a few seconds in a game etc.

What do I do in this situation? I have already disabled my network adapter but I’m kinda stumped about what else to do.

Best way to check if it’s actually someone connecting remotely or if it’s a issue with your mouse is to unplug the mouse/disable your trackpad. If the pointer still jitters and moves around then unplug from the internet, backup all your critical stuff and re-install windows.

If it’s stopped moving then clean the mouse/trackpad, particularly the laser. If it still jitters then get rid of the mouse.

Do you have roommates? If so, check if they plugged in a Bluetooth USB to PC and are messing with you.

    Easiest way to check

    1- Turn off Bluetooth

2- look for any USB’s plugged in that you know you didn’t do

You can also do what others are suggesting and disable networking to see if that fixes it
