Hello everyone—I’m in IT, very new to the field and my institution is leasing a new building to move into next year. The building is from the 50s, we’re doing extensive renovations, and there’s a TON of old legacy wiring from phone systems that I think is no longer necessary and removable, but I’m not sure. Before I go mucking around and taking stuff apart, I thought I’d ask for some more seasoned opinions. I took a few photos of the one closet. Am curious to hear what you all think. Also happy to provide more info. Thank you!

Those are the POTs lines. So the real questions are do you have an elevator? Does your security system use a POTs line? Are you ever going to use fax machines?
