Hello,

So im using an asus ROG with windows 11 and am unable to access websites that contain “adult content”. i’ve tried messing around with my chrome settings, proxy, resetting the network settings and nothing has worked. I know that it can’t be blocked on my wifi network as im the only one who uses the network and all content is viewable on my phone, which is using the same wifi as my laptop. I slightly remember checking off a box somewhere on my PC to block such content a short while back, but i cant remember where i did that. i know this probably sounds dumb, but i have no idea why im having this problem solely on my laptop. Any advice would be much appreciated.

I’m kidding. I’m trying hard to believe you’re an adult, but I can’t do it. Whatever, your problem is with your software configuration. This has nothing to do with your Asus Rog. Didn’t you know that watching porn on a gaming computer is unhealthy? It’s very dangerous, you can grow hair on your palms. If by chance ̶Y̶o̶u̶r̶ ̶d̶a̶d̶ you didn’t put a checkbox “somewhere” to prohibit installation of programs, install another browser and don’t deny yourself anything.

There’s a possibility that your country’s government restricted those websites OP

OP claims to be 25 in a post made 13 days ago, and looking at history I really hope this is an adult.

You may have enabled SafeSearch in settings or Microsoft Family Safety. Relative to DNS: could be a DNS Shield; Clean Browsing; Cloudflare 1.1.1.1; NeuStar Secure DNS; Family DNS; Yandex?

Okay so i found the setting on my VPN under “DNS content blockers”. it was a drop-down menu and i glossed over it previously. Knew i had checked that off somewhere lol.

There is a setting in your browser that does this. Search for adult settings for your browser online, and it should point you in the correct direction.
