I just woke up and did my daily routine, finally sat down to my laptop to see that I wasn’t connected to the wifi, it was fine since the wifi yesterday wasn’t working, so I would have to manually connect to the wifi

Only to learn that my laptop now needs an ethernet cable, despite the fact that I was able to connect to the internet without the ethernet cable prior

I’d appreciate the help

    What laptop do you have?

    Also, some laptops have a WiFi switch on them, or a button(or button combination) to turn WiFi on or off.

    Why does your laptop now need an ethernet cable?

    Can you not just re-connect to the Wi-Fi?

    Is there some type of message saying you need ethernet?

    Are you seeing your Wi-Fi SSID (name) in the Wi-Fi list?

    What kind of laptop?
