I’m trying to erase some drives with DBan but run into one issue after another. I’ve followed the instructions to download the dban iso from here: https://dban.org/ (free version) and then I also downloaded Dufus to create a bootable drive from the Iso following a video. That went smoothly however I can’t boot from the drive. Even in the Bios with boot overwrite trying to boot from my USB does nothing. The screen will blink but refuse to do anything if I try to select to boot from my dban usb. So I override boot back to windows 11 to try again.

This time I’m trying with Yumi because I couldn’t figure out how to use UltraISO, and again success I seem to have created a dban bootable drive. This time things are better, I am able to select and boot from my usb. However I’m now on some “Yumi exFAT” screen but no matter which version I try to boot from I keep getting the error

"No bootfile found for UEFI!

Maybe the image does not support X64 UEFI"

I’m perplexed, what am I doing wrong
