I’ve been trying to clean space off my computer since while it’s supposed to be a gaming computer specifically I use it for. well. everything lol but I am OUTTT of space for realsies. and what shows up most in the storage settings/uninstall menu is microsoft c++ stuff

(image of uninstaller… control panel thingy)

Ii’ve searched before and think I’ve seen you’re not supposed to delete them but do I seriously need ALL of these?? lol. Alternatively, if I can’t delete them, is there a way to delete the random crap on windows like uh “gaming services” or maps or stuff like that that I genuinely don’t use. I do have an sd card + external hard drive but I would still like more space on my computer LOL

if you are that short of space, get another ssd or sata to store photos and music on

external should be for backup and not turned on all the time

maybe post your motherboard and what is installed, no point buying an m2 if you have no slot for it, or you might find you have 3 slots and 2 taken over due to gpu
