So we’ve got a caravan that we need to get internet to. The router is around 150m away, we have power outlets around the area from a few sheds on the way, but there’s about a 30m gap at the end between the powered shed and the caravan.

We used two wifi extenders (TP-Link AX1800 wifi extenders and another cheaper TP-link model) daisy chained together and are just getting a signal but it’s not good and drops often.

Would a TP-Link Deco X20 AX1800 Whole Home Mesh Wi-Fi 6 System (3 units) be a better solution?

    Get a tplink outdoor cpe point to point antannaw, it would be overkill , still cost is not that high compared to extenders , also performance is better than extenders

    Google point to point wireless bridge. As long as you have line of sight you can do some bridges at up to 5 km and still push a few hundred mbs.

    Since you’ve already said you can’t run cable and you can’t get a line of sight to it the best option would be to see if you can get something like T-Mobile’s cellular internet for it or TP Link does sell outdoor mesh Network nodes but I don’t know if you could string enough of them together to reach. Plus it would be rather expensive buying the indoor nodes you need and then enough of the outdoor to reach all the way

    I have a Linksys wireless mesh system, but have a shed about 35m away. I couldn’t be bothered to wire. It has mains electricity so a power line link may have worked. But as it was only for streaming to Google speakers the wireless works well. Link from an upstairs window frame to the shed(wooden). If it’s only the last 30m would probably work.

    I have a similar issue, but over a shorter length. I did have access to power in between though, so what I did was install a mesh network with two of the stations in water proof housings in between the house and the out building Not metal of course. Works a treat for me.

    The biggest issue I think will be that your caravan may act as a bit of a faraday cage, but I don’t own a caravan so that is a guess.
