I haven’t ever used any form of anti-virus on my computer but I’m starting to use the internet more. Before I’ve mostly used it offline so I’m thinking I should try and get something for protection. I just don’t want something that would use up a ton of my memory. From what I know I have 416 mb of memory and the pentium 2 card in my computer. I don’t know what else would matter for anti virus as I’m not good with computers as much when it comes to the internals

Pentium 2? Are you sure? That chip was discontinued in 2003, 20 years ago. Your computer is pretty old. You might want to get a new system, as I don’t think there’s much software around that will work on your system with up to date antivirus database.

What version Windows are you running? Pentium 2 and 416MB of RAM? That goes back to the 90s and Win95/98. If you’re running Win10 or Win11, the most unobtrusive package would be Windows Defender, which is built in. It’s capable. It’s not the best, but it’s capable.
