Hi, I poured a little bit of isopropyl alcohol onto a couple keys on my laptop keyboard, a Dell Inspiron 14 2-in-1 for the purpose of cleaning some stuck keys. Unfortunately, the computer started to go on the fritz after I left it to dry a little bit, and then turned it on. I only left it to dry for a couple minutes, before I did, is it possible that it’s on the fritz now because of a short? The laptop is deciding when it wants to turn on, and off, on its own, and sometimes the keyboard doesn’t work, and it goes to sleep then back on in an instant. Is it possible I can do anything to salvage it?
You what? Why would you pour it in?
You fried the poor thing when you thought pouring liquid into it was a good idea instead of swabbing, take it to a tech shop and see if they can salvage it cheaply.
