EVERYONE should have a windows/linux/bootable partition manager thumb drives. Heck they are cheap enough to buy a 4 pack. And DO IT. Use one for windows installer, bootable. Use one for a linux LIVE cd/usb bootable. One for either partition magic, or Gparted bootable. There’s even an LIVE bootable antivirus on this site. https://livecdlist.com/ Here: https://livecdlist.com/avg-rescue-cd/ No need to even delete/restore/reset etc your current OS, when you can just download and create a bootable USB drive with antivirus scanner, that runs at boot, and can check other drives. And don’t forget, using a usb storage/thumb drive is a safe way to store your passwords. As long as you don’t loose it.
