Im hoping someone can give me some insight to what is happening to my devices. I have a 2016 MPB Touch Bar, a 2017 13" MPB, and an iPhone 13 Pro. Yesterday morning I woke up and my Touch Bar Mac would not turn on or charge so I used my husbands computer to try and get ready for a design review. Plugged his computer into my usual charger and then his MBP stopped charging and dies as well. Took both computers to repair shop and am still waiting for answers. Now my iPhone is no longer working - said it was fully charged then all the sudden screen went black and now it wont turn on. I had been listening to a voicemail, immediately after the voicemail ended the phone shut off. iPhone was plugged into a different charger + adapter, but same outlet of the home that computers were plugged into.

I was wondering the same about the charging brick. I did end up trying to charge both the macs with different charging bricks (we have 3 total) and neither of the other two bricks worked. Not sure if that is helpful information. Do you know if a faulty charging brick would be the cause or able to damage the charging ports? My MacBook has 4 USB-C ports, two are for charging. I tried multiple different chargeing cables / bricks / outlet around the house in both the charging ports and still no luck.
