I need help.

I would like to record some demo vocals with the internal mic in my computer. Everything is routed properly: I use asio4all, the mic input is routed in the audio setup, it’s activated in the audi connections, when I create a new track I route it correctly. Unfortunately cubase doesn’t detect any input signal at all. The mic works fine in other programs, only in cubase there is no reaction.

Any thoughts?

    have you checked the mic’s input settings in the VST connections panel? sometimes it’s a matter of tweaking those settings to get it to work properly. also, make sure the mic isn’t being used by another program in the background.
