Hello everybody, I bought a new SSD (Samsung 990 PRO 1TB) and installed in my laptop. My laptop had one SSD already inside but I want to migrate Windows in to the new one because it is faster. I used Minitool Partition Wizard and completed the process. After I realized EFI partitions were in both SSD’s and when I wipe one SSD my laptop did not boot. But I fixed this problem through some command lines and everything was fine. Later I realized also some partitions were missing (Recovery, myAsus) and tried to bring them back and this is where the problem started. I was using Teskdisk and accidently wiped the new SSD somehow and now my laptop was going only into the BIOS screen. I tried to install windows via iso disk but both SSD are not visible and even in the command line (diskpart / list disk) I can not see the SSDs.I do not know it is possible to break them like that but only in BIOS screen where Intel Rapid Storage Technology is I can see them as storage and created volume for them but did not work either. So I am stuck at the moment and need help so thanks in advance. Sorry for my English, it is not my mother tongue and if you have any more questions I am happy to answer them.

-Long story short I accidentally deleted all the partitions in one SSD and now both of them are not visible at all.

When dealing with EFI, UEFI, it is not as simple as just cloning the partitions. You will also need to update the EFI partition to indicate the new GUID of the new SSD, else it will be repeatedly attempting to boot from the old SSD.

As for the disks not being visible, where it it not visible? If partitions already exist on a hard drive, it is not empty, the Standard Install option of Windows installer will not display that drive as usable for an OS installation. You must first delete any/all existing partitions using Custom Install mode during Windows install.

Additionally, Intel Rapid Storage Technology could cause issues with your drives if you attempted to use this. This is a RAID/Redundancy feature which allows multiple drives to be setup in “mirror” mode, in order to keep a backup copy. Doing so will result in wiping of the drives, and will result in the drives appearing as a single storage system to the OS. I wouldn’t be surprised of an Intel Rapid Storage setup drive is not eligible for OS installation.
