Dear r/techsupport,

I bought new RAM (G.Skill Trident Z neo 32GB 3600 mHz, 4 sticks and yes it is on the supported list for memory kits for my motherbaord) for my PC a few weeks ago. Ever since I put the sticks in at every startup this BSOD appears. Nothing of the four options at the bottom work when I press the corresponding button, except when pressing Esc, this bring me to the BIOS of my mainboard. Then when I leave the BIOS my PC starts up completely normal and I didnt made any change within the BIOS. I also noticed today in my BIOS that the VDDP voltage gets set automatically to manual control and the voltage is set to 1000 mV. When I change this value or put the VDDP Voltage Control back to Auto, at every statup its set back to Manual control an 1000 mV.

I hope anyone can help me. Slowly but surely it annoys the f out of me that everytime I have to go into the BIOS when I start my PC.

Thank you for your help!

Gigabyte Aorus B550 Pro V1

Ryzen 7 3700X

Radeon RX 7800XT

With te-seating the storage you mean the drives in my system and not the ram sticks?

What’s the difference? After entering bios and then leaving it, everything works perfectly normal. I habe run sfc scannow and dism restorehealth check and made a fresh install of Windows as well and it keeps happening.

A BSOD is a different name for a bugcheck, a specific type of crash. A BSOD will leave logs and can be caused by all manner of different things. That error screen you have means that a file is corrupted. Pretty much no wiggle room.
