I am hopeless right now. I have just bought a samsung oddissey g7b monitor, 4k 144hz 28 inches, everything goes well, I have been able to connect my nintendo switch without problems, but when I try to connect my asus tuf gaming a15 laptop to the monitor with the same hdmi cable that I use with the nintendo switch, it is not possible to make a connection. The thing is that in the display settings, the laptop detects there is a second display, but it just says it isn’t active. I have tried everyting, updating drivers, uninstalling drivers and installing them again, I have resetted windows, I have reinstalled windows, I have activated my nvidia Geforce rtx 3070 laptop GPU in the nvidia control pannel, but nothing works. I think the problem has to do with my integrated AMD card and my Nvidia GPU card, as the internal display from my laptop goes into the AMD Radeon graphics, and the monitor goes into the Nvidia card (Cant attach a screenshot here), but as there is no option to change the display settings on my nvidia control pannel I cant change this. The solution may be to change the graphics card from the integrated AMD to the GPU Nvidia, but I have read this is not possible, so what can I do? Will I never be able to connect this laptop to my monitor?
My laptop specs are:
Processor: AMD Ryzen 7 6800H with Radeon Graphics 3.20 GHz
RAM: 16.0 GB (15.2 GB usable)
Windows 11 pro 21H2
Geforce rtx 3070 laptop GPU
Screen Full HD 1080p 144 Hz

Could you do me a favor and set the refresh rate to 60hz from your windows machine? I’ve heard of the G7 having firmware issues that can cause miscommunication between your computer and the monitor.
