i have a small M.2 drive running my OS now. and a small SSD for games. i want to upgrade my storage to a 2tb M.2.

would i be better off using the SSD as my OS drive and the M.2 as my storage? or would i be better just putting everything on the m.2.

i only have 1 m.2 slot, i have a a320 (something) MB. my one reason for booting from SSD is i heard the boot better compatibility. currently my PC does a “double boot” i donno or load the bios twice from shutdown (or so it seems).

i know there are different m.2 slot speeds but in general i dont notice much difference in loading times between SSD and M.2. but i would like to get a better m.2 drive that is faster then what i have.

so. SSD boot and M.2 storage? or everything on a fast M.2?

Thank you

the fastest is the 2TB NVMe drive and i have a SATA 250gb drive. My first thought was to put the OS on the 250 drive and the rest on the 2tb NVMe drive. but maybe it is
