Hi there, so yesterday I finally got the parts for a pc and me and my friend built it together. Some troubles but ultimately got them solved in the end. Anyways, i’m now at a standstill as I simply just can’t get wifi and have no clue where to go from now. I have tried multiple videos and just don’t know what to do at this point. Any help would be VERY greatly appreciated.

it only gives me the option to use ethernet and it won’t let me find any wireless networks either.

If I had to guess, I’d say there’s no wifi card in that PC. But you didn’t provide any specs of the build, so it’s not possible to know.

Tell us the motherboard model and that would be a good start for troubleshooting.

Hey sorry for not replying sooner. To be honest with you I don’t know jack about PCs and had my friend help me build it.

Motherboard: GIGABYTE B550 AORUS ELITE AX V2

GPU: GIGABYTE GeForce RTX 4060 EAGLE OC

      CPU: AMD RYZEN 5 5600X 6-core

Power Supply: Corsair RMx Series RM750x 80 PLUS Gold Fully Modular ATX

Again sorry for the lack of details, just fed up with this and am at such a loss on what to do.

I checked and that mobo does have wifi built in.

The wifi drivers for it are here, download and install the latest version (22.200.0.6).

In case that doesn’t work, open Device Manager and check under Network adapters if there’s something like Intel wireless. If it is present but there’s a yellow exclamation point icon, that means Windows can find it, but it’s not working for some reason – perhaps removing the driver for a reinstall could fix it; get back for further instructions if needed.
