Hello! want to upgrade to Windows 11, but I’m unsure if my computer can actually do that. A few months ago, tired enabling Secure Boot by converting my boot device from MBR to GPT, but ended up with a BSOD. I had to factory reset. Is it even possible for my computer to enable Secure Boot and upgrade to Windows 11? You need to back up all your data for a conversion. It will remove all partitions and you’ll have to reinstall Windows and everything else.

Microsoft made a tool that converts it live, no format required. Of course it does corrupt the OS 1-2% of the time requiring a format and reinstall.
