So I was gaming with this new Lenovo YOGA laptop I just purchase last week. Everything has been working great, until about 2 hours ago. I noticed that I would randomly dip down into the 4 fps range every few minutes or so and it would linger. In the past, this would happen when the laptop was blowing out a bunch of hot air, and the bottom of the laptop was warm to the touch.

However, today, it seems that only the left side of the laptop is blowing out hot air. The right side is blowing out cold air. Is this normal? Maybe it was always blowing out cold air and I just didn’t notice?

If this is not normal, how can I fix it? This is the second Lenovo YOGA I have purchased over the course of 2-3 weeks. The first one had to be exchanged out with this one for a different and unrelated technical issue. Please help.

either, the left side is output and right is intake, or the right fans heat sync is broken. But with pcs a lot of them are Intake-output, so your laptop can feel like it’s blowing cold air, maybe it’s just taking it in?

It could be possible whatever is on that side of the laptop may not be operating and so is not generating heat.
