So this morning I woke up opened steam and my nintendo pro controller wasn’t working. I thought it was a DS4Windows problem so I deleted the app and then I remembered about something something hidguardian. Then I searched on how to uninstall it.It said I should download the hidguardian thing again and if it’s say it’s already downloaded you should press the “uninstall” button. I did that and restarted my PC. Then boom my keyboard and mouse doesn’t work so I can’t do anything at all.

Please help.

    Hidguardian is a fickle beast. You probably hid your kb and mouse from device manager by accident and now windows doesn’t see them. Try booting up in safe mode and undoing hidguardian or plug in ANOTHER kb and mouse so that they get a different hwid

      Do you know how to boot up SAFEMODE? cuz the thing is my keyboard works for like 3 second when booting up so is there like a hotkey ?

        Iirc. If you force shutdown your PC 3 or 5 times in Windows it defaults into recovery mode where your mouse and kb should work. The. You select troubleshooting and boot in safe mode.
