My computer is super slow takes about 20 minutes just to start being functional after being turned on. Idk much about computers but I re installed windows and apparently it should be running way faster but its the same if not worse. core i5. It has an sshd which might be the problem but idk. Also it has to disk check whenever its turned on. any suggestions would help.

    Windows 10, I reinstalled windows just in the setting with the delete everything option. Also when I power on my computer it always says Its scanning or checking the disk or drive unless I click a key in 1 seconds or whatever. 8gb of ram Im pretty sure. idk how to figure out the generation but I hear its probably 9

      i would get the scan tool for whichever company made the drive and do a scan. assuming you’ve actually let it run to correct whatever disk errors there are, it’s likely that since it keeps happening your slowness may be a hard drive problem.
