So recently when playing games I’ve been getting these crazy lagspikes every 15 minutes or so dropping my frames to ~3fps for around 2 seconds. This might seem more like a nitpick than anything, but in some of the games I play this could be detrimental. Does anyone know what could be causing this?

Random lagspikes during gaming could be due to issues with your graphics drivers, overheating components, or background processes using up system resources. Check for driver updates, monitor your system’s temperature, and close unnecessary background applications to see if that resolves the issue.

I’m not really sure if this could be the case though. This could happen even when my graphics card is running at around 50 - 60% and I don’t think it should be lagspiking when it’s that low. My graphics card is also up to date and has been for the past few weeks now. I also dont think that closing background applications would help cause it seems like no matter how little or how many I have it still manages to lagspike. I’ll check task manager when I’m playing games however and see what’s spiking up when I get a lagspike.
