I’m unable to use multiple monitors with my GeForce RTX 3060 card. I do digital art with a display tablet, so this is a big issue for me. The display ports work, so I can have one main monitor, but I can’t use my drawing tablet, nor my other monitor.

I have tried:

Changing cables

Double-checking the ports (all DP ports work, but not HDMI)

Reseating the card

Seating it in the other PCIe slot

Updating drivers

Updating the Bios

Detecting new monitors with the NVIDIA panel and with windows display settings (both return nothing but my main monitor)

Telling the Bios to have multiple displays enabled

And I still cannot get it to use multiple monitors. I don’t know what else to do. The card clearly works because it puts out a signal, but it’s simply refusing to put out multiple of them. I still need to double-check the bios to see if it held the new settings. I won’t know what it means if it didn’t, but it’d be information to have on hand anyway.

Other details:

os - Win 10 64bit

cpu - 12th gen intel i7-12700K

mobo- Asrock B660m pro RS

Tagged it as software since I’m 90% sure that it’s something miscommunicating rather than the hardware itself being funky.

The BIOS shouldn’t have anything to do with it, unless you’re trying to use the iGPU through the motherboard video ports. Are you connecting all displays to the 3060 itself?

You mentioned you changed cables. Did you buy new ones or just used whatever was lying around? What are your monitor specs?
