So about a couple weeks ago I run a sketchy program. I had my AV off and it kinds of stole a ton of my accounts before i caught on. The Virus is completely gone from my system, i made sure. But im not getting any support emails on my main Gmail account which was one of the compromised accounts. Meaning if I recover a password or contact support the email will sent from their end (Support emailed me an attachment on a different email that shows the email has been sent from their end) But they never arrive in mine. Not even in spam. Just not there.

How do i fix this? Its of crucial importance. Is there a setting they used to redirect them to another email? Is there an option that completely stops certain types of email from appearing? I don’t even know where to start.

Side note - are you really sure the virus is gone?

I work in cyber security (detection & response…literally poking at phishing emails, malware files, etc).

If I got comped bad enough to steal account passwords (meaning your browser cookies stolen, likely) I wouldn’t trust anything less than a full windows reinstall.

And I do this stuff for a living. For over a decade now.

Antivirus sucks at cleaning up after a compromise.
