I have a lenovo yoga 7i laptop that I bought for my art school. I bought it in February of 22 and three months ago it stopped charging. I finally took it in to be repaired and was told that it was not the battery but the charging port. They said they couldn’t fix it because the charging port was welded to the motherboard and they don’t do that type of work.

I am unbelievably mad because this laptop costed a ton only for it to not even last 2 years. I’ve contacted lenovo and they want me to send it in to be “fixed”. I did have a 1 year warranty, but it is expired.

I’m already looking into different brands to replace it, but my only question is what do I do with it? It has no charge and can’t be turned on and I was thinking of just selling it for parts/or for someone else to fix it for themselves but the laptop still has all my data on it(not interested in getting anything off it)

So what can I do with it? Any advice or suggestions will be appreciated!

used one years ago, was crap, tech support failed and ended up with an old dell off the md

dont buy lenovo / chinese crap again perhaps ?

remove the drive, use a drill on it and bin it

    dell is a good brand
