I recently bought a microphone off amazon (https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B075VQ7VG7?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details), and whenever it isn’t exactly perfectly slotted into my microphone input on my PC (and I mean pressed very hard and firm), it will connect to a local bible radio station, and wont pick up my voice at all. Any ideas on how to fix this?
Sounds like something isn’t shielded properly. Either by design to save costs, or as a defect. Could be your mic, could be the jack on your PC. If you’ve had other mics without this issue, then it’s probably the mic.
Honestly, nothing you can do to ‘fix’ it aside from replacing whichever component is faulty. You might be able to shield it with aluminum foil around that port.
This sounds like the start to an indie horror game
