I am trying to figure this out. Last week I was with one provider and my download and upload speed with the package was 150/mbs. I switched to a new provider and now my speed with our page is 1.5 gigabit down.

The router is in the same spot (basement) and is going through 2 floors. My download speed is a bit slower and ping in online games is a fair bit worse as well.

I am currently using TP link range extenders that are a few years old. Would this be an issue? Is anything like a bottleneck possible here? Or what else could be an issue? A wired connection wouldn’t be possible for me right now.
