Google Services charged me four times in a day

Hi can someone give me some help? My credit card was it with four $1.38 CAD charges three days ago. This is the first time it’s happened and none of my transactions after that have been suspicious or fraudulent.

My credit card transaction history says GOOGLE * SERVICES CANADA.

I can’t dispute these charges yet because they’re pending but still want to see if anyone can shine some light.

    This happened to me when using my Google browser to maintain and update my saved cards. Every time I verified to get access to a card to check the number or edit/delete it, I would get a dummy charge on the card. This led to a lot of dummy charges cause I was checking and organizing a bunch of cards but they never amounted to any real charges.

    It doesn’t happen for every type of card, I mostly remember it on my debit card. So that could be one possible reason.
