Are more and more gaming PCs and laptops “dying” nowadays?

What the hell is going on?

If true, it seems quite anticapitalist and agribusiness.

What could be going on? Games aren’t even that “intense” nowadays; how could gaming PCs and laptops be dying?

Like, if a fleet of Japanese bullet trains were to suddenly die, this would bankrupt a company.

The hell is going on?

I haven’t seen anything to suggest that. “Game intensity” isn’t really going to damage hardware either.

Don’t know about that, I am still using my fx-8350 build, it’s almost 10 years old now. Still works fine after all those years and I use it almost everyday.

Not sure what triggers your question but the gaming computer market is alive and well.

My very personal opinion is that consoles like the PSx and others are better equipped for gaming than PCs and laptops but both markets are far from “dying” as you suggest.

Care to explain what lead you to make that statement?

    1. A lot of laptops die because users try to overclock GPU/CPU, change bios for a higger wattage of GPU, they won’t disconnect the batter if they replace something (ex: You can burn your GPU or motherboard if you replace screen without unplug the battery connector), overheat because they dont cleans their device and many more which are caused by the user.

2.Another thing its to let automatically windows update your device + Lenovo Vantage, Armory Crate, etc. to download bios and automatically install windows updates and bios at the same time and here you go, it will restart when installing bios and its bricked.

    1. This is when you are just unlucky and it getting CPU, GPU damage because of high voltage failure by various circumstances. Imagine and Lenovo Legion battery charcher of 300 watts going directly in GPU or CPU.

You can check yt channel laptop repair school and see there why laptops dies.
