Hello,

Looking for advice on storage; I’m upgrading my AMD system to an intel system and was hoping that I could just use the M.2 SSD that I use for boot/OS and plug directly into the new system. I’ve heard that this could be a bad idea or that you want to remove drivers (not sure how to do that), and I’ve also heard that it is totally fine to do with modern hardware. Could really use some advice.

Thanks!

The best thing to do on any platform upgrade is to do a full fresh install of Windows. Having your old drivers installed while installing the new ones can lead to your PC completely freezing up.
