I suspect I’m running on half of my RAM (4GB of 8GB) I have been bluescreening and getting the error MEMORY_MANAGEMENT When I look at task manager and count the processes they account for 3GB ram usage, but task manager says this is over 80% OS Windows 10, i5 6400, 8GB of DDR4 installed
Is this possible and what can I do?

Check the bios, it will tell you how much ram is installed.
- Click “Start” and type “msconfig”, open it.
- Go in to “Boot” and “Advanced Options”.
- Make sure “Maximum Memory” is NOT checked.
- Press “OK” and Restart if it was.
- If it wasn’t checked you likely have integrated graphics which share the installed memory.
I’m not using integrated graphycs, can I turn them off and reclaim my ram?
