I own a business that has two main work computers, two phones using WiFi, and 5 wireless cameras. I struggle to get internet connection to the computers.
I have a TP Link Deco and a main router. There is no way to have an Ethernet cable to connect to either computer.
Internet constantly disconnects when I’m on the computer but I don’t ever have any issues on my phone. Our internet service provider says the only way they can guarantee high speed internet is through an Ethernet cable
Do your wireless camera need Internet access? If not you should move them to a separate network.
But I’ve worked with more devices in a single low end router setup. It might a problem with your computer.
Could use meshnet wifi
I have a TP Link Deco and a main router.
What do you mean by this? You are using two routers? Or you have an extra on hand? How many Deco devices?
I’ve been looking at Deco routers. My understanding is that you have to disable the wifi output of your main modem/router to use the Deco. The advantage would be you buy more than one Deco and enable a mesh network.
Buy a network extender or invest in a mesh network.
There is a ton of variables to getting fast speed out of wifi, signal strength, interference, your ISP download/upload speed, network congestion, to name a few, and we can’t figure those out for you over the internet.
