I dont know anything about a server… i can assume it is same as normal pc but with some advancements that suits a server function…

So i was thinking lately, what is the best way to learn other than building it yourself… and of course im not going to buy a new server for this… watching videos also helps a lot, but doing things in your hand is better…

So i was thinking, is it doable using a normal pc to create a temporary server for learning purpouses?

    Servers use literally the exact same hardware that’s in your desktop. All that matters is what your doing with it?

    Does it serve requests to the network in some way? Then it’s a server. You can install e.g. apache on your desktop and if you turn it on, it is now a server.
