Not much of a tech guy so I’m not sure what to do. Wi-Fi was working fine up until 2 days ago I started getting very high ping spikes every 1 or so minutes. My computer is the only one doing this in the entire house. I am connected through ethernet and i ran the CMDS ping test and i was getting 5 ping. However, every 7 or 8 lines i would get “Request timed out”. I’m absolutely stumped.

Wi-Fi can be really wonky. Have you tried updating the router’s firmware? Once that’s done, try rebooting your modem and router and replacing your ethernet cable. Do you live in an apartment? Sometimes, a neighbor’s Wi-Fi can cause interference. If possible, try moving your router to a different location (more in the center of your home, on a shelf instead of on the ground, and unobstructed instead of tucked behind a picture frame or something that could conceivably block the signal).
