Hello everyone. I have a PS4. Now it is connected to a TV. And also I have a 27 inch HP all in one laptop. Now I want to use that 27 inch HP laptop as my only screen to play PS4. (N.B: it does not have HDMI IN port)
The Device that is related: https://www.amazon.ca/Extender-Ethernet-Uncompressed-Transmit-Transmitter/dp/B0BM9VBJHV
And might have the knowledge about HDMI/Video over ethernet. This tech is seems so cool. Without inserting the ethernet cable to receiver, yes, can we just insert into a laptop ethernet/RJ45 port and use the laptop screen as a monitor of PS4/another device??? For example: PS4/PS5 --> HDMI TRANSMITTER–> ETHERNET CABLE–> LAPTOP ETHERNET PORT --> AND USE A SOFTWARE TO GET VIDEO.??

Sure, you just have to write a software to decode the network stream and display it on your monitor (assuming the black box uses standard network protocols).
