I plugged in a usb cable to my pc, and then to my ps4 controller and instead of connecting it charges. I checked device manager and devices and printers and didn’t find the controller. I have tried 3 usb cables and they all do the same thing

    I have ds4windows. I connected it before and a message popped up saying “setting up controller” or something like that, but now it won’t show up

    I’m 99% sure you need to get special third-party drivers and whatnot for that to work. It is not PnP like an Xbox or other gaming controller.
