So I’m currently on Windows 10 right now I’m getting an error saying I need to enable TPM 2.0 in my intel z370 bios in order to use windows 11. Now, in my bios I have PTT which is to enable TPM to work and security device is enabled in the bios. The confusing thing is CSM is already enabled. I have checked if I’m using legacy or UEFI in my disk management and it states I’m on UEFI there. My disk partion is also in GPT. I’ve heard that if u disable CSM it can potentially soft brick your motherboard which seems to be very annoying if it happens. Can I get away with enabling PTT with security device enabled but leaving CSM enabled in order to use Windows 11?
My bios mode is in UEFI in windows 10 and my partition is GPT
Thanks :)
What brand is your board?
run "tpm.msc " on windows, did you see information about TPM spécification ?
