Okay so that title is kind of a lie but i’m very upset. I bought a $1600 computer and I can barely run spiderman remastered, it stuters constantly. I have had this computer since 2020 or 2021 I don’t remember but I feel like I should be able to run minecraft modpacks without worrying they are going to lag to much. Granted I am very much dumb when it comes to PC’s so maybe i’m completely missing something, could anyone help?

My specs:

Processor: Intel Core i7-10700F CPU @ 2.90GHz

Installed RAM: 16.0 GB (15.8 GB usable)

operating system: Windows 11

Video card: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060

again i have no clue what im talking about so please dont make fun of me i just wanna be able to play games.

Make sure any current AAA games you are running are on an SSD. Loaded starfield on a hdd by accident (was a crack) and it was damn unplayable. Once it was loaded on my main drive C: I had no issues.

This is most likely what’s happening. A bunch of prebuilt come with an SSD for the OS and an HDD for storage.
