Very odd, can you see yourself remembering other strange things on your computer? if you have only noticed this random file I find it difficult to be a virus, but it is always good to check the programs that are running in the background.
Have you noticed any new or different apps installed as well?
Also were where the txt documents located? If it was from your computer’s local folder, it could be an old file from someone who used it before. Did you build this PC brand new?
