I have a i5-11400F, an RTX 3060ti and 32GB of ram. I am on windows 11 and the os is installed on a m.2 ssd.
Since yesterday my CPU is constantly at 100%, I noticed it while playing a game and I only got like 10 fps where I would usually get well over 200.
I did a clean start and the the cpu usage was only at 5% while idling. I already ran a full scan with Norton defender and it found no virusses. I’ve never had any problem like this.
Do you know what might’ve caused this? Any help is apreciated!

Check your clock speeds and temps when you are at 100% Could be thermal throttling.

Did you change your power settings make sure you haven’t limited your CPU max speed.

When at 100% look at your programs that are running, what is taking up your CPU power.
