Hey so I have struggled with this problem for quite some time now. While playing my pc ramdomly shuts down and restarts. In event viewer I just get a crash notice, nothing really helpful. I upgraded to a 3080 at the beginning of the year and got a new Psu to support it; Seasonic Focus Px Fully Modular Power Supply, 80Plus, PLatinum. I´m thinking the psu might be busted or not sufficient but I can´t refund it anymore so I was wondering if any of you guys have any idea? Also I´m undervolting my system since I get fewer restarts that way; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UQHyoNr-pQY&t=4s this as a base but using just +500 core clock since it ran more stable. Use my pc a lot for music and recording and unplugged all guitars and stuff, problem still persists. Happens while playing everything besides league of legends ^^, ranges from Jedi survivor to Mafia 3. Bios and drivers should all be up to date.
Would really appreciate the help! Cheers…
Specs:

Sasung ssd 980 1TB
Toshiba DTo1ACA100 (but nearly emtpy)
Focusrite 3rd gen solo as audio interface, dunno if it´s really a difference in power consumption
Thanks for you answer.
I just get sth like “unexpected shutdown” but let me check it again after it happens again.
Damn, forgot to write that down. It´s an 850 wattage one.
Yeah I unplugged everything and it didn´t really work any better. Problem is I can´t really recreate the problem. Sometimes it works for a bit, other times it crashes every 5 minutes…
Yes, only while playing games but yeah lol is the only thing that runs consistently (haven´t tried cs2 or sth tho). I would say I put quite a few 100 games in since I upgraded so thats quite some “testing” ^^.
Hmm I think at the start it was quite fine, but I don´t really remember anymore when exactly this all started… Could also be I wasn´t playing that demanding games back then.
