i am having a Blue screen of death issues for a Omen laptop i just got, the omen transcend.
the code i am getting is stop code: Page Fault in Non Paged Area
and what failed is: NVLDDMKM.sys
ive tried with HP support about this but they havent really been helpful in getting a resolution, the frequency is about once per day or so
the step’s i have taken as so far is: Clean Reinstall of NVIDIA graphic’s driver’s, ensuring BIOS is up to date, Undervolting my GPU (HP tech support said this could resolve the issue), and ran a CHKDSK.
The spec’s on this laptop is: RTX 4060 GPU, intel i7-13700HX processor.
I have a onedrive link with a Zip file for the latest Minidump created, though im unsure if im allowed to post it onto this subreddit or not as it is my first time here.
Any help appreciated.

Auto mod didnt like my one drive link and removed it when i added it, so here is a mediafire link instead
https://www.mediafire.com/file/5beb6i2of4il22n/Minidump%2527s.zip/file
it contains all 4 of my dump files for this crash in a zip.
I read all 4 of the BSODs. The repeated occurrence of PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA errors pointing to the nvlddmkm.sys file, which is related to NVIDIA graphics drivers, strongly suggests that the problem is related to the graphics driver or its interaction with the system.
Here are possible factors contributing to these issues:
Driver Problems: Outdated, corrupted, or incompatible NVIDIA graphics drivers could be causing conflicts or memory access issues, leading to the PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA errors.
Memory Issues: While the error often relates to the driver, underlying hardware problems, especially with the system’s RAM, could also cause similar symptoms.
Software Conflicts: Other software interactions or conflicts with the graphics driver might be triggering these errors.
Given this, the most likely issue appears to be related to the NVIDIA graphics drivers. Here are steps you can take to resolve or further diagnose the problem:
Update or Reinstall Graphics Drivers: Ensure that you have the latest version of the NVIDIA drivers installed. Consider performing a clean install of the drivers to eliminate any potential corruption.
Hardware Diagnostics: Run hardware diagnostics, particularly memory tests, to check for any issues with the system’s RAM or other hardware components.
Thank you for your help.
I ran a full memory test of my laptop and everything came back clean.
i have gone through the effort of thoroughly ensuring ever bit of Nvidia driver’s is gone and am now installing the latest game ready driver they have (which released today funny enough)
we will see if this fixes the problem, i expect to see a crash within around 24 hour’s, as that has been the occurrence rate roughly.
