So I just installed a second bigger ssd in my pc and have cloned the c drive files onto it. I didn’t clone the OS as I plan to leave it there.

Can i clear out the files from the old ssd safely? And if so is it as simple as highlighting and deleting all the files in c drive or is there some specific way?

Which drive are the applications on? If you moved the applications to the new SSD and delete them from the older SSD you are bound to have issues.

I have cloned the C drive onto the new SSD labeled as E drive. Unsure if that’s what you were asking or if it helps.

So right now I have 2 copies of what was in the C drive. C still on the older SSD and E on the newly installed SSD.
