I live in uni accommodation and the glide wifi has been really slow for some reason so I thought I’d buy an ethernet cable and connect via that. So far I’ve plugged it into the ethernet port under my desk but had still had no internet connection.

After troubleshooting it says “‘Ethernet 3’ doesn’t have a valid IP configuration”.

This is my first time trying to use an ethernet connection so I don’t know what to do next. I’ve tried restarting my laptop but nothing changed, does anyone know what I should do next? (windows 10)
