I am going to update the gps map in my car and in a manual it says the following: The SD Card has to be a 16GB SDHC card with at least 15,718,400,000 Bytes and 30,700,000 Logic Sectors.
How do I find out which SD card has the following specifications?
Or does anyone know of a card that works according to the specifications?
“SDHC” has a specific logo, make sure the SD card has 16-32GB capacity, and has the “SDHC” logo.
If the SD card has more than 32GB, it will probably not have that logo and be replaced by “SDXC” or something similar, and depending on the tech in your car, those higher capacity ones may not work.
Get a 16 GB SD card. Then right click on format on the card in File explorer. Ensure allocation unit size is 4096 bytes before formatting.
