I have a pdf and the content of it is just a box that goes from the top of the pdf to the bottom. I was wondering if there was a way to change the size of the pdf or if I could convert to another format that would let me crop parts of an image and only save whats in the box. I dont know how really to explain what it is but removing margins doesent work.

    Nope. PDF is container and can have lots of content. Evidently yours is just some kind of graphical blob embedded into a pdf.

    Plenty of people have no idea how to use PDFs.

      Indeed. Content inside of a PDF can either be bitmap pictures, text using fonts or images/text using vector graphics.

      The first and last in these list can be a complete pain in the arse to import into Word and convert, for example. They may need to be OCR’d instead.
